2008 Dodge Durango

The 2008 Dodge Durango is the precursor to the evolution of the Durango brand with includes a Hybrid Durango featuring the Multi-Displacement Technology found on this year’s generation Durango.

The 2008 Dodge Durango comes with 119” wheel-base tires coupled with a 4-speed automatic transmission or optional 5-speed automatic transmission and consumer-choice of the 3.7L V-6, 4.7L V-8 or 5.7L HEMI V-8.

Gas mileage has remained the same at 14MPG in the city and 19MPG on the highway with MDS technology allowing drivers to switch off half of the cylinders to improve fuel economy during low-load occasions.

The Durango is a full-size sport utility vehicle with Rear-wheel and All-Wheel-Drive capability that can hold 1,540 pounds and comes with a towing maximum of 8,950 pounds.

2007 Dodge Durango

The 2007 Dodge Durango was completely redesigned with the consumer in mind, providing new features and styles demanding by the buying audience.

Cosmetic changes include a reworked front grille, fascia design, engine hood and headlamps accompanied by updated wheels and fenders. Standard features introduced for the 2007 Dodge Durango include Electronic Stability Control providing safe traction for all driver styles, a tire pressure monitor system for security, a rear park-assist system and the new one-touch turn signals.

The electrical system has been reworked and redesigned to accommodate future incorporations into the Durango lineup.

The engine packages include the 3.7L V-6, 4.7L V-8 and the performance 5.7L V-8 HEMI with Multi-Displacement Technology.

2006 Dodge Durango

The 2006 Dodge Durango saw minor changes to the lineup and maintained the majority of excellent feature sets and designs that made the Durango so popular from previous years.

The EPA has estimated the Durango to have an average 13MPG in the city and up to 18MPG on the highway.

2005 Dodge Durango

The 2005 Dodge Durango is the companion to the Dakota, providing everything great from the previous platform and transforming everything desired by consumers into this Sport Utility Vehicle.

Engine packages come in varying styles, starting with the 3.7L V-6 producing 210HP and 235FTLB of torque, moving onto the 4.7L V-8 engine with 235HP and 300FTLB of torque and finishing with the performance-tuned 5.7L V-8 HEMI boasting an amazing 335HP and 370FTLB of torque under the hood.

The 2005 Dodge Durango is mated with a 4-speed automatic transmission and comes with the choice of either a rear-wheel-drive or all-wheel-drive platform sitting on 119” wheel-base tires. The 5.7L HEMI V-8 features the Multi-Displacement System allowing drivers to turn off half of the cylinders during low-load situations for vastly improved fuel economy.
